May I introduce myself?

My name is Erik van Stuijvenberg, and together with my wife Anneloes I run Camping de Grienduil in Nieuwland. We also have a son together, Wessel. In my working life I have been active in many areas, from real estate to municipal councilor. Anneloes now works part-time as a purser at Transavia.

Camping de Grienduil has become completely ‘our thing’. Over the past 15 years we have modernized the campsite and our popularity has grown enormously, partly due to booking platforms such as Booking.com and the use of social media. Many people also find the small-scale set-up attractive. We value this cozy and informal atmosphere.

Camping de Grienduil now has 20 camping pitches and various rental accommodations, including a nice gypsy wagon and Megapods. However, developments do not stand still. In 2019 we realized 2 new apartments. We have also worked on a representative communal area, in the form of an authentic barn. This is now used as a covered terrace.

We partly finance these investments ourselves and are also looking for investors who want to help further develop Camping de Grienduil. Guests and other interested parties who enjoy supporting a local initiative and also strive for an attractive return.
